Simply said GSE services include the ability for you to cull and make available for resale (by you, or us at a small fee) non-essential, non-critical parts. This function is included in the GSE Membership Subscription service as outlined above in section 6.
Your asset recovery people will benefit substantially by having an additional powerful set of tools that they can use to identify and also assist in disposing of excess spares. |
8. PROCUREMENT PLUS |

GSE personnel and/or tools will add to the reduction of the time consumed identifying spares. This is especially true when using GSE they can solicit / source from both differing process types and geographical locations world-wide.
Typically a long lead time and/or discontinued spare, can have substantial costs and time constraints to your business, as the plant in need, invariably searches without success within a limited process(its own i.e. power plant) or relatively small geographic distribution i.e. South East USA. GSE broadens the scope of your search parameters. GSE can search its global databases for spares that are discontinued, have long lead times from OEM or are generally difficult to locate. As a subscription member you also have a substantially larger "universal" target pool of spares. The driving concept of GSE is one that calls "ITS INVENTORY, THE WORLDS' AFTER MARKET INVENTORIES" that are sitting on the shelves of process plants of varying production types that in fact have excess spares inventories that will satisfy others in need. This service will provide your procurement folks with a fast and in some cases, THE ONLY SOURCE to identify critically required spares. If desirable, GSE personnel can add to your procurement department in such searches for a small success based fee. In summary, your procurement department can use GSE tools and/or GSE's people to rapidly source that much needed critical spare. This time consuming expensive aspect of your business will be enhanced by GSE Membership Services and will dramatically cut down on time and cost. |
